MATH, or Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub, is a new initiative by T-Hub and DST to foster AI innovation, create job opportunities, and nurture startups in India. The hub was inaugurated on Thursday in Hyderabad, with the aim of becoming the go-to destination for AI-driven initiatives in the country.
MATH is a Centre of Excellence that leverages AI and ML to propel India’s technological prowess onto the global stage. It comprises cutting-edge facilities, including a mini data center with GPU capabilities, a world-class Learning Management System (LMS) tailored for AI education, and robust data infrastructure to support diverse AI applications.
The hub has set ambitious goals to generate over 500 AI-related jobs by 2025 and nurture more than 150 startups annually. It also offers a comprehensive suite of services to startups, such as mentoring, legal guidance, financial support, and technical expertise. Moreover, it aims to bridge the gap between groundbreaking technologies and market readiness, by enabling rapid commercialization and scaling up of activities.
MATH also connects academia, finance, and industry by establishing a network that propels startups forward, fostering collaboration and growth. It serves as a launchpad for AI/ML startups with disruptive technology and solutions, committed to leaving a lasting impact.
The launch event was attended by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, E&C, I&C Government of Telangana, Rahul Paith, CEO of MATH, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, IT, E&C and I&C Department, Government of Telangana, BVR Mohan Reddy, Board Member of T-Hub and Founder & Chairman of Cyient, and Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub.
