This collaboration aims to revolutionize cancer care across the country by focusing on three key areas: enhanced access to treatment, advanced research and innovation, and widespread adoption of digital healthcare solutions in oncology.

The National Cancer Grid, a network of over 300 cancer centers coordinated by the Tata Memorial Hospital, plays a crucial role in standardizing cancer care across India. Axis Bank’s contribution will directly support the NCG’s efforts to establish a National Cancer Teleconsultation Network. This network will connect patients in remote locations with qualified oncologists, ensuring timely access to expert advice and treatment plans.

The ₹100 crore commitment will also fund the creation of a National Tumour Biobank. This biobank will store and analyze tumor samples, providing invaluable data for future cancer research. Additionally, the partnership will focus on developing oncology-specific Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to streamline patient data management and improve treatment outcomes.
