The datasets will cover various domains such as agriculture, healthcare, education, urban development and social welfare.

To foster human capital development in AI, the IndiaAI mission will launch the IndiaAI FutureSkills initiative, which will train new skilled workers for the growing AI job market. The initiative will offer graduate and postgraduate AI projects, courses on foundational models and “Data and AI Labs” across the country .

The IndiaAI mission will also support startups with the IndiaAI Startup Financing program, which will provide financial assistance and incentives for innovative AI projects. The program aims to nurture the growth of the AI private sector and encourage “futuristic” AI solutions.

Additionally, the IndiaAI mission will focus on developing safe and “responsible” AI initiatives through indigenous software frameworks, government guidelines and proper guardrails to prevent unlawful data exploitation or privacy violations .
