NVIDIA, Indian Govt Collaborate for Sovereign AI

NVIDIA, the global leader in AI hardware and software, has announced a strategic partnership with the Indian government to develop India’s Sovereign AI. This initiative aims to boost the nation’s digital public infrastructure (DPI) and enable India to independently create and deploy AI solutions that align with its core values and priorities.

Sovereign AI is a concept that refers to a nation’s ability to control its own AI development and governance, without relying on external providers or compromising on data privacy, security, and ethics. It also fosters domestic innovation and economic growth by leveraging the nation’s unique data assets and talent pool.

This will create a solid foundation for training and deploying advanced AI models in various sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, defense, and education.
