The DFC will enable faster and safer movement of goods trains and reduce congestion on the existing rail network.

PM Modi also inaugurated two new rail lines that will improve the connectivity of the national capital to southern-western and eastern India. The first line connects the Mathura-Palwal section and the second line connects the Chipiyana Buzurg-Dadri section. These lines will also facilitate the movement of trains on the DFC.

Road Projects

PM Modi unveiled multiple road development projects that will enhance the connectivity and mobility of the people of Bulandshahr and nearby regions. He laid the foundation stone for four-laning of Meerut-Bulandshahr section of NH-235, which will reduce travel time and boost economic activity. He also laid the foundation stone for six-laning of Ghaziabad-Aligarh section of NH-91, which will ease traffic congestion and improve road safety.

Oil and Gas Project

PM Modi inaugurated Indian Oil’s Tundla-Gawaria pipeline, which is a 255-km-long pipeline project that has been completed well ahead of its scheduled time. The pipeline will transport petroleum products from Tundla terminal in Uttar Pradesh to Gawaria terminal in Haryana. The pipeline will cater to the demand of petroleum products in western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Rajasthan.

Urban Development and Housing Project

PM Modi dedicated to the nation the ‘Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida’ (IITGN), which is a state-of-the-art township developed by Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). The township will provide employment opportunities to over 1 lakh people and house over 50,000 residents.
