Suzlon Wins 642 MW Wind Project from ABC Cleantech

Suzlon Group, a leading renewable energy solutions provider, has secured a 642 MW order from ABC Cleantech Private Limited, a joint venture between Brookfield and Axis Energy in India. The order is for Suzlon’s 3 MW series of wind turbine generators, which will be installed in Andhra Pradesh. Suzlon will also provide installation, commissioning and operations and maintenance services for the project.

Project Details

The project will consist of 214 wind turbine generators with a Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) tower and a rated capacity of 3 MW each. The HLT tower is a unique design that combines the advantages of both lattice and tubular towers. The 3 MW series of wind turbines are suitable for low wind sites and have a rotor diameter of 144 meters and a hub height of 140 meters.

Project Impact
